How to use a photo hosting site on forums

Ok..I belong to a really cool forum called Crochet Talk.com and some of the nice ladies there need a little
help using a photo hosting site to get their image in a post.  So I am writing this tutorial for them..but it should work in just about any forum that is online..


1) Go to www.photobucket.com and create a new FREE account. (you can pay for one ..but I use the free
one and I love it.)

2) Next you have to upload your images to photo bucket. (you should know where they are in your
computer before you browse for them..ie: have them in a folder in documents or pictures..so they are easy to find.)

To do this do this..

After you click that a box will pop up and you will need to find your image on your computer..so do this

Ok..now you go to the bottom of page after they upload and click here:

ok..now you will see your image..and you will need to go to it..and hoover over it with your mouse..another box will pop up..you will see this..and you will need to click on "Direct Link" code.

Once you click onto that code ..it copies it..NOW..go back to the forum..(such as crochet talk) and go to where you want to post image..go to ADVANCED..then  do this:

Ok..you will get a box that says  h t m l../ and that is where in that box..YOU RIGHT Click your mouse and paste the imaging code..then hit OK..

You should now have your image on your post but but but..it is always good to PREVIEW your post as some images are larger than others..and you want to have it the right size or where you want it..that way you can then make a change if needed..instead of editing later on.
